Before and After School Care and Clubs
Our extended day at Colville Primary School is run and organised by the school. Places must be pre-booked and paid on our payment system through 'My Child at School' prior to the day.
Before School Extended Day starts 7.45am
Our extended day before school opens at 7.45am. Breakfast is served between 7.50am and 8.30am. Children are provided with low sugar cereals or whole wheat bagels, fresh fruit and water which is included within the charge. They then take part in different activities. At 8.40am children go to class.
Nursery and Reception

8.15am we offer a free breakfast service to all children. To access this you must regster children for a place so can ensure we can cater for all.
After School Extended Day
Between 3.30-5.45pm we offer a selection of clubs including 'extended day club'. Our extended day is run by the school. A broad range of activities are on offer each evening.
Children staying to a club or the extended day should bring a healthy snack from home to have in school at 3.20pm. This might be some veggies cut up or fruit to have with their water. We are a nut free school and ask parents to ensure that no snack contains nuts.
- 3.20pm to 4.30pm half session 1 £11.00
- 4.30pm-5.45pm half session 2 £13.10 with a light meal which includes fresh fruit
- 3.20pm to 4.30pm half session 1 £7.20
- 4.30pm to 5.45pm half session 2 £7.60 with a light meal which includes fresh fruit
Late Collections
We expect every child to be collected on time or pre-booked for extended day care 1pm of each day. If you have not collected by 3.30pm, your child will wait in extended day care for you to arrive. You will then be charged the rate of the first session for after school care to cover our costs. (See Charging Policy) Please note this is the same for 4.30pm collections. All children staying in the second session must be pre-booked.
- Our extended day care closes at 5.45pm promptly.
- Parents of children who need 1:1 support in the school day, must first speak with the Inclusion Team or a member of the senior leadership team before booking a space for their child.
We reserve the right to refuse the use of this service for any pupil whose behaviour is not acceptable. The Head of School's decision is final in all circumstances regarding a child's attendance in this service.
